RESEARCH

The foundation of everything we do.

Evidence Before Everything

At Phoenix Longevity Research & Consulting, research is not a buzzword — it is the bedrock of every protocol, recommendation, and intervention we explore. We dive deep into peer-reviewed literature, clinical trial data, and emerging scientific breakthroughs to separate genuine promise from hype. Our approach is rooted in the scientific method: observe, question, test, and validate before we ever communicate a finding.

The longevity landscape moves fast. New compounds, therapies, and mechanisms are published weekly. Our role is to track these developments rigorously — scanning PubMed, NIH/NCBI databases, major medical journals, and regulatory filings — so that the protocols we discuss are grounded in the best available evidence, not marketing claims.

What We Investigate

Our research spans the full spectrum of longevity science:

  • Peptide Therapy — BPC-157, TB-500, Epithalon, Semax, Selank, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, Thymosin Alpha-1, and emerging peptides targeting tissue repair, immune modulation, cognitive enhancement, and cellular rejuvenation.
  • Metabolic Health — Retatrutide, GLP-1 agonists, metformin, CaAKG, and compounds targeting metabolic dysfunction, insulin sensitivity, and body composition optimization.
  • Cellular Rejuvenation — NAD+ precursors (NMN, NR), spermidine, urolithin A, and interventions targeting mitochondrial biogenesis, autophagy, and cellular cleanup pathways.
  • Regenerative Therapies — Red light therapy (photobiomodulation), cold water immersion, grounding/earthing, and other non-invasive interventions with growing evidence bases.
  • Hormone Optimization — Testosterone replacement therapy, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin, and growth hormone secretagogues studied for their role in maintaining vitality with age.
  • Cognitive Longevity — Nootropics, neuroprotective compounds, and interventions targeting cognitive decline, neuroinflammation, and brain healthspan.
  • Regulatory Intelligence — We monitor FDA compounding lists, advisory committee decisions, Federal Register publications, and DEA scheduling changes to stay ahead of access and compliance shifts affecting every compound in our protocol.

How We Evaluate

Not all research is created equal. We apply a tiered evidence framework:

  • Tier 1 — Human Clinical Trials: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials published in top-tier journals. This is the gold standard.
  • Tier 2 — Observational & Mechanistic Studies: Cohort studies, epidemiological data, and in-vitro/in-vivo mechanistic research that biological plausibility even when clinical data is still maturing.
  • Tier 3 — Emerging & Preclinical: Animal models, case reports, and early-stage research that shows promise but requires validation. We flag these clearly.
  • Red Flags: We actively screen for conflicts of interest, small sample sizes, unpublished raw data, and studies funded by supplement manufacturers. If the evidence is thin, we say so.

The 150-Year Blueprint

Our research culminates in the 150-Year Blueprint — a comprehensive protocol that targets all major hallmarks of aging simultaneously. Rather than chasing a single "magic bullet," the blueprint addresses metabolic dysfunction, immune senescence, growth hormone decline, telomere shortening, tissue degeneration, mitochondrial decline, NAD+ depletion, cognitive deterioration, mTOR dysregulation, and impaired autophagy as an interconnected system.

This is research in service of a singular goal: living to 150 with quality of life for the majority of it.

Our Commitment

We publish our findings transparently. When the evidence changes, we update our position. When regulatory status shifts, we communicate it immediately. When a compound we once recommended turns out to be less effective than thought, we say so. Integrity in research means being willing to be wrong and correcting course publicly.

Every article we publish includes source references with direct URLs to the original research. We do not fabricate citations. We do not exaggerate benefits. We present what the science says — clearly, honestly, and in language that is accessible without sacrificing accuracy.
